    Les activités de recherche de l’équipe ePOP reposent sur la compréhension et la modélisation des relations qui existent entre la structure et les propriétés de transfert d’un emballage alimentaire, d’une part et les propriétés de transfert et les réactions de dégradation des aliments d’autre part. Les connaissances issues de ces travaux permettent :
    • D’élaborer des matériaux (nano)composites innovants issus de ressources renouvelables et biodégradables
    • De développer des outils de prédiction et d'aide à la décision basés sur une ingénierie de type reverse: des besoins de l'aliment vers la structuration / formulation du matériau

    Our group is studying grains, seeds and co-products. His main goal is focused on the identification of relationships between the fine structure and composition of raw matters, their behavior along processing and the end-use values of the obtained products for food or non-food uses.

  • Ingénierie des Réactions Biologiques (IRB)

    The work of the IRB team focuses on the understanding, orientation and optimization of microbiological or enzymatic catalysts for the valorization of renewable resources (e.g. agro-industrial residues - rich in sugar or fatty acids, CO2) into molecules of interest (e.g. functionalized lipids, PHA polymers). Our research interest is to study the relationships between the state of a biocatalyst and the dynamics of a biological reaction, depending on the environment.

  • Physics of processing of plant-based divided materials (PhyProDiv)

    Electrostatic separator
    The PhyProDiv group is interested in the controlled generation of plant biomass particles and their physical and mechanical behavior in powders, dense suspensions, charged composites ... It combines experimental, theoretical and numerical developments to understand the transformations of divided materials from the scale of the constituents to that of the process. Its topics of interest mainly deal with the food industry, biomaterials and bioenergies.
