LipPolGreen scientific platform
Last update: 5 December 2013
Characterization of plant lipids and hydrophobic polymers for a green and sustainable chemistry
The platform, funded by the Advanced Research Thematic Network (RTRA) "Agropolis Fondation", works in the framework of green and sustainable chemistry relying on our knowledge in the field of lipid biotechnology, polymer physico-chemistry and exploration & use of molecular biodiversity from plants for biomolecule, biomaterial and biofuel productions.
Aims
As part of this platform, in the context of international projects, we propose the required tools and scientific support to:
- Characterize plant lipids and organic solvent-soluble macromolecules and to study their molecular diversity
- Study the speciation of mineral compounds potentially associated
Facilities
The platform is based on analytical tools (A4F-MALLS, SEC-MALLS, ICP-MS, GCxGC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC-MS), associated with the competences and the equipments of UMR IATE.
